- What is the size of a black & decker rice cooker plus measure?
I have a Black & Decker ricer cooker plus and while I was moving I lost the rice measure that comes with it. I remember that it didn't equal a cup. Can anyone provide me with the actual capacity of the measure so that I can use a measuring cup?

Our Black & Decker Plus rice cooker stopped working, and possibly because the heating element burnt out. Is there anywhere we can purchase the heating element / coil for the cooker? I wouldn't want to throw the cooker away.

A You may decide that throwing it away is the smarter decision when you find out what the new element, (if it's even available), will cost, and don't forget the shipping, (which usually makes ordering one single part not economical). I'd try Black & Decker's website. They probably have a small appliance section, and if not, they should certainly have a Service Center locator available. When you get their number be sure to have the model no. at hand, they'll certainly need that. But don't be too surprised if there are no parts available for repair, most of today's small kitchen appliances aren't made to be repaired. They're manufactured in China and imported here to the US under a specific brand name, making us think they are built here. Good luck.
