Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker

- what is a fuzzy logic rice cooker?
i need to replace my rice cooker and this is actually my first time shopping for one and i don't know which one to get! which do you recommend and what is the difference between fuzzy logic and the other steamers? which rice cookers can you make porridge in? where can a find recipes for those because i would like to try some. i know this is a lot of question for one question but i appreciate your answers.

A Don't worry about the questions, all are perfectly acceptable to ask. Now let's go to the answers. Take your time on choosing a rice cooker. If you purchase one that you won't like, chances are your experience with rice are going to end up unsatisfactory. FUZZY LOGIC - this is a form of computer logic where the process is dealt with theoretical reasoning rather than approximate. For example: The computer would function like this: IF TEMPERATURE IS COLD > THEN COOK TILL WARM. IF TEMPERATURE IS HOT > THEN SIMMER TILL WARM. Basically it rides by a theoretical function rather than go by approximate temperature, conditions, etc. Many rice cookers nowadays come with this form of cook reasoning so it is perfectly OK to purchase one, unless you prefer your rice extremely perfect to the point of perfection, like high class Asians. Number two: Generally, if you are looking for a rice cooker that is able to cook Sweet and/or Brown rice extra functions, chances are it comes with a porridge function too. Sweet and Brown rice take much longer to cook, and the process takes time to perfect, unlike the standard white rice. Due to the grain differences, but let's not get into that. Steamer vs Rice Cooker: A steamer provides a variety of other functions rather than just cooking rice. You can re-heat leftover foods through a steamer, which by today's standards are considered a "healthy" alternative to warming up food compared to the microwave or gas stove. Just think of a Steamer as multifunction rice cooker. Possibly not all steamers are suited to cook rice, though the majority should be able to. A I would strongly recommend Zojirushi. I currently own Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 5.5cup Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker. This is the best fuzzy logic rice cooker for 2-4 person. I got this rice cooker after much research online and i"m extremely happy with it:)
